Cash stuffing

I’ve recently started a cash stuffing journey. I’ve found this helps me manage my money a lot better. I spend less as I’m reluctant to release those notes. I’ve been withdrawing £400, here’s how I distribute that:
80 for weekly shopping (20 a week)
100 for a monthly shop (mainly frozen meat and monthly household items)
35 for annual car insurance
20 for annual tv license
35 for children’s essential
40 coffees at work
50 fuel
40 self care
Any cash left over from these budgets get put into my savings binder!
I’ve managed to get my annual tv license fully funded. My car insurance is fully funded to, meaning I’ll save money on the interest on direct debit payments. When I checked the interest on paying monthly for my car insurance is £55!
Now that I’m fully funded for those two annual bills I’ll start using that money to pay for car tax, car maintenance and some household items! Hopefully I’ll be fully funded for those soon as well. Once I’ve paid for my car insurance and tv license I’ll restart those so they’re ready for next year!
